City of Austin City Council met March 29.

Here are the minutes provided by the council:

The City Council of Austin, Texas, convened in a special called joint meeting with the Travis County Commissioners Court at Austin City Hall 301 W. 2nd Street, Austin, Texas and via videoconference. 

Council Member Tovo called the Council Meeting to order at 9:08 a.m. 

Council Members Tovo and Fuente were present. Mayor Adler, Mayor Pro Tem Alter, Council Members Pool, Kitchen, and Ellis attended virtually. 

BREIFINGS 

1. Update on Covid-19 related matters. 

Presentation was made by Dr. Desmar Walkes, Austin Public Health Director, Adrienne Sturrup, Director, Austin Public Health 

Council Member Tovo adjourned the Council Meeting at 10:27 a.m. without objection. 

The minutes were approved on this the 21 %t day of April 2022 on Council Member Fuentes motion, Council Member Harper-Madison’s second on a 10-0 vote. Council Member Pool was absent.
