City of Austin City Council met Aug. 17.

The City Council of Austin, Texas, convened in a special called joint meeting with the Travis County Commissioners Court at Austin City Hall, 301 W. Second Street, Austin, TX and via videoconference. 

Mayor Adler called the Council Meeting to order at 9:07 a.m. 

BREIFING 

1. Update on Covid-19 related matters.

Presentation was made by Dr. Desmar Walkes, Austin Public Health Director, Adrienne Sturrup, Interim Director, Austin Public Health, Charles Brotherton, Office of Emergency Management, Travis County, Ken Bailey, Austin/Travis County Fire and Rescue and George Morales, Constable, Precinct 4, Travis County. 

Mayor Adler adjourned the Council Meeting at 10:35 a.m. without objection.
