City of Austin Audit and Finance Committee met June 15.

The committee may go into a closed session under the Open Meetings Act, Section 551.071, of the Texas  Government Code, to receive advice from legal counsel on any item on this agenda.

Approval of Minutes 

1. Approve the minutes of the Audit and Finance Committee meeting of May 25, 2022. 

Briefings 

2. Status of the recommendations from the November 2021 Disaster Preparedness Audit. Sponsors: Mayor Pro Tem Alison Alter, and Council Member Leslie Pool 

3. The City Auditor’s Integrity Unit report, which summarizes activities of the Unit related to its’ fraud, waste, and abuse hotline.

4. Historic Preservation Fund Update including Heritage Preservation Grant Guidelines. Sponsors: Mayor Pro Tem Alison Alter, and Council Member Leslie Pool
