Cirrus Logic has announced its role as the presenting sponsor for HAAM’s 2024 Corporate Battle of the Bands. The event, scheduled for June 5 at Moody Theater, will feature Cirrus Logic’s employee band, The Haptics, as they aim to defend their Fan Favorite title.

The Haptics are composed of several returning members: Andy Rumelt on keys, harmonica, and vocals; Jonathan Ruiz on bass; Matthew Beardsworth on guitar and vocals; Zak Kaye on guitar; and Ryan Lobo on drums. This year, the band has added vocalists Bret Britton and Michael Ovassapian to enhance their performance.

In preparation for the event, The Haptics have been rehearsing in Cirrus Logic’s jam room to refine their harmonies and set list. Their performance promises a mix of classic riffs with powerful vocal performances from Michael and Bret. They look forward to entertaining HAAM fans while supporting a charitable cause.

The annual Corporate Battle of the Bands provides professionals an opportunity to showcase their musical talents while contributing to a good cause. Austin-based businesses participate by forming bands that perform 12-minute sets before a panel of celebrity and music industry judges who award winners in four categories.

Further information about sponsorship opportunities or details about HAAM’s Corporate Battle of the Bands can be obtained from event organizers.
