A chihuahua named L’il D is looking for a forever home in Austin. The adorable pup, estimated to be 2 to 3 years old and weighing 6.25 pounds, was recently taken in by New Hope Animal Rescue (NHAR) and is now up for adoption.
According to a Facebook post by NHAR, L’il D is described as “spunky and saucy” with “a heart of gold.” The post goes on to say, “L’il D will capture your heart with her adorable prance – it’s impossible not to be charmed by her.” The chihuahua is a social butterfly and gets along well with dogs of all sizes. She is also an expert at giving irresistible puppy dog eyes, especially when there’s food involved.
L’il D is sociable with other dogs, comfortable in a crate, and relatively quiet. While she is house-trained, she occasionally uses pee pads when needed. She is currently in the care of a foster mom, who receives lots of affection, kisses, and cuddles from the sweet pup. However, L’il D takes a little more time to warm up to her foster dad. NHAR assures that she is not a nipper or a biter but may have a preference for her foster mom.
