Jessica Saenz-Hosack, principal of Brentwood Elementary School, has been named the Texas PTA Elementary Principal of the Year. The award recognizes her leadership and commitment to building strong partnerships between families and schools, as well as supporting student achievement.

The Brentwood Elementary School PTA expressed appreciation for Saenz-Hosack’s work, stating: “We are so proud and grateful for her care of our community –  seeing and celebrating our children just as they are, and guiding us all to positively impact their education.”

Saenz-Hosack was also selected as a finalist for the 2024–25 Salute Principal of the Year award. Her leadership is evident in programs at Brentwood such as Heggerty, which supports reading and dyslexia intervention, and Leader in Me, which encourages students to set goals and take an active role in their learning.

As part of this recognition from Texas PTA, Saenz-Hosack will receive additional resources and training to further develop her leadership skills and continue fostering collaboration between the school and its community.
