Manor Independent School District has announced Brandon Powell as the new Director of Career and Technical Education (CTE). Powell, who has over two decades of experience in education, has spent 19 years working within Manor ISD.

During her time with the district, Powell has served in various capacities including classroom teacher, Instructional Coach, Assistant Principal, Associate Principal, and most recently as Principal of Manor High School’s 9-10 campus for five years.

Powell is known for her vision and leadership style that focuses on helping students and families achieve their full potential. She emphasizes the importance of equitable access to education and preparing students for life beyond school. Her approach is based on the belief that exposure to possibilities is crucial for children to understand what they can achieve.

“In order for children to believe that things are possible, they must first be exposed to the possibilities,” said Powell.

In her new role as Director of CTE, Powell intends to provide students with tools and experiences through Career Technical Education that will help them achieve success beyond their expectations.

Powell holds a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies from Southwest Texas State University and a Master’s Degree in Education Administration from Concordia University.
