Ballet Folklórico de Austin, in collaboration with The Long Center, is set to present Guelaguetza Oaxaqueña. This performance by Ballet Folklórico de Austin will offer an evening celebrating one of the most vibrant festivals held annually in Oaxaca, Mexico.

The Guelaguetza festival is renowned for its significant role in highlighting the cultural identity of Oaxaca. It emphasizes community interdependence and celebrates sharing and reciprocity within indigenous cultures.

Founded in 2014 under the direction of maestro Edgar Yepez, Ballet Folklórico de Austin has gained recognition for its memorable performances featuring beautiful dance and authentic regional costumes.
