SPEED and hardcore are two words that have become synonymous on a global scale. The Sydney, Australia-based band has staked its claim on the genre through live performances, music videos, and staying true to themselves. The five-piece group has coined the phrase “ONLY ONE MODE,” which is also the title of their first full-length album. Set for release on July 12th through their label homes Flatspot Records (USA) and Last Ride Records (AUS), the debut exemplifies the band’s growth while still delivering the SPEED ethos.
Lyrics on “ONLY ONE MODE” embrace perspectives, channeling everything from loyalty and realness they’ve learned from hardcore to some of the band’s most vulnerable output yet. It serves as a manual explaining SPEED’s beliefs, personalities, contributions, and what makes their scene special.
This Australian hardcore band has surpassed initial expectations and continues to operate in “ONLY ONE MODE,” as fast and hard as possible. SPEED performs out of love for their friends, family, and the culture of Australian hardcore. They are currently under a global spotlight bright enough to highlight their entire scene alongside them.
