The Austin Police Department (APD) is seeking the public’s help to identify a suspect involved in credit card abuse. The individual used a stolen credit card on Sunday, May 4, 2025, at two locations: a Chevron station at 30 South IH-35 and an HEB store at 2508 East Riverside Drive.

The credit card was reported missing following a vehicle burglary that took place earlier the same day at 54 East Avenue.

Authorities describe the suspect as “a Black male in his early 30s, heavy set with a thin mustache.” He was last seen wearing “a Michael Kors shirt, acid-washed jeans, and a Houston Astro’s hat.”

APD encourages anyone with information about this case to contact them anonymously through the Capital Area Crime Stoppers Program by visiting austincrimestoppers.org or calling 512-472-8477. A reward of up to $1,000 may be offered for information leading to an arrest.
