On August 15, 2025, the Austin Police Department (APD) responded to an aggravated assault with a deadly weapon at Pinstack, located at 500 Canyon Ridge Drive. According to APD, two female suspects entered the business around 10:29 p.m. During the incident, one of the suspects became aggressive and displayed a weapon toward an employee.
A security officer escorted both suspects outside. Once outside, there was a struggle for the weapon and one suspect pointed a firearm at the security officer. The two women then left the scene in a white Chevrolet Malibu sedan, estimated to be from model years 2013-2015. The vehicle was last seen heading from Pinstack onto Canyon Ridge Drive toward the IH 35 service road. No injuries were reported.
The first suspect is described as a Hispanic female, approximately five feet tall with long black hair and a right arm sleeve tattoo. She was last seen wearing clear-lensed glasses, a black polo shirt, light blue jeans, and black and red Jordan shoes.
The second suspect is described as a Hispanic female driver who is about four feet eleven inches tall with dark brown hair. She was last seen wearing a white T-shirt and blue jean shorts.
