Austin Police seek public assistance in identifying HEB robbery suspect

Austin Police Department detectives are seeking the public’s help in identifying a suspect involved in a robbery at an HEB grocery store located at 12407 N. Mopac Expressway Service Road Northbound. The incident occurred on Thursday, October 23, 2025, at approximately 3:50 p.m.

According to police, the suspect attempted to steal merchandise from the store. When confronted by a victim, the suspect assaulted that individual before fleeing the scene.

The suspect is described as a Black female, about 30 years old, standing 5 feet 2 inches tall with a heavy build and bald head. At the time of the incident, she was wearing a black t-shirt, blue shorts, and light green running shoes. The vehicle associated with the suspect is described as a black Toyota.

Police are urging anyone with information related to this case to contact APD’s Robbery unit at 512-974-5092. According to authorities, “A reward of up to $1,000 may be available for any information that leads to an arrest.”
