Austin police seek help finding missing elderly man with health concerns

The Austin Police Department is seeking assistance from the public in locating Francis Quinlan, an 80-year-old man who has been reported missing. Quinlan was last observed on June 25, 2025, around 4:30 p.m., in the vicinity of the 12300 block of Yarmont Way.

Authorities are concerned about Quinlan’s safety due to existing health issues. He is described as a Black male with a thin build, brown eyes, and balding hair. At the time he was last seen, he was wearing a blue shirt, dark blue checkered pants, and black slippers.

Anyone with information regarding Mr. Quinlan’s whereabouts is urged to contact emergency services by calling 911 or reach out directly to the APD Missing Persons Unit at 512-974-5250.
