On June 9, 2025, Austin Police Department (APD) and Austin-Travis County Emergency Medical Services (ATCEMS) responded to a welfare check call at 2425 Ashdale Drive. The call was made by a family member of the primary resident living with his granddaughter, Elizabeth Martinets.
Upon arrival, officers discovered two deceased individuals in a bedroom of the condominium. The victims were identified as Elizabeth Martinets and her boyfriend Enrique Zamora-Rosario. Both were pronounced dead at the scene at 8:43 p.m.
Homicide detectives and crime scene specialists are conducting an investigation. Initial findings suggest that Enrique Zamora-Rosario fatally shot Elizabeth Martinets before taking his own life.
