On Saturday, June 8, 2024, the Austin Police Department (APD), in collaboration with the Austin Fire Department (AFD), Austin-Travis County EMS (ATCEMS), and other partners, will host the Inaugural Autism Sensory Fair.

The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., offering families an opportunity to meet local first responders and representatives from local non-profits. Attendees can observe outdoor traffic stop demonstrations and enjoy activities such as face painting for children. An indoor de-stimulation room will be available for anyone needing a quiet place to relax and decompress.

This family-friendly event is free and open to the public.
