Austin ISD hosts college fair for employees seeking further education

Austin ISD is hosting an Employee College Fair, providing its staff with the opportunity to explore educational partnerships and degree programs. The event, organized by the Office of Talent Strategy, is exclusively for current Austin ISD employees and not intended for students.

The fair will take place on Wednesday, October 30, 2024, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Austin ISD Central Office located at 4000 South Interstate 35 Frontage Road in Room 221. Attendees can come and go as they please during the event hours.

Several university partners have been invited to participate in the fair. These include Austin Community College, Concordia University, Grand Canyon University, Huston-Tillotson University, Peloton U, Texas State University, University of Texas Austin, and Western Governor’s University.

In addition to English-speaking attendees, Spanish-speaking staff are also encouraged to attend under the name “Feria Universitaria para Empleados del Austin ISD,” where similar information will be available.
