During the winter break, Austin Independent School District (Austin ISD) schools and offices will be closed, which may make it harder for some students to access healthy meals at home. The district is encouraging families to use community resources to find food assistance in their area while schools are not in session.

Families seeking support can call 2-1-1 or (877) 541-7905 to speak with a live operator who can help connect them with local food assistance options.
