Mr. Eduardo Ramos submitted his resignation from Austin ISD on Tuesday, July 23. His last day with the district was scheduled for Friday, August 16; however, Superintendent Matías Segura placed Mr. Ramos on leave on July 31, 2024.

Superintendent Segura has named Ms. Katrina Montgomery as Interim Chief Financial Officer. Ms. Montgomery has served the district for three years as Assistant Superintendent of Finance. Before her tenure at Austin ISD, she was interim VP of Administration and Finance and Controller at Houston-Tillotson University.
