Major League Soccer (MLS) has announced that Austin FC’s goalkeeper Brad Stuver and forward Brandon Vazquez will be part of the league’s 2025 All-Star roster. The MLS All-Star Game is scheduled for July 23 at Q2 Stadium, with Austin FC Head Coach Nico EstĂ©vez leading the MLS All-Stars against the LIGA MX All-Stars from Mexico.
Estévez collaborated with MLS to select a total of 12 players for the roster. This event marks the first major professional sports all-star game in Austin and the first MLS All-Star Game in Texas since 2010. It is also the inaugural MLS All-Star Game held in a soccer-specific stadium in Texas.
Stuver has been recognized as one of the league’s top goalkeepers, ranking among the top five for saves and clean sheets this season. He led the league in saves during both 2023 and 2024 and holds Austin’s record for appearances with 163 matches, achieving 37 shutouts.
Vazquez, in his debut season with Austin FC, leads the team with eight goals across all competitions. He recently scored a decisive goal against New York Red Bulls. This selection marks Vazquez’s second career appearance as an MLS All-Star, having previously been named to the team in 2022.
Stuver and Vazquez join previous Austin FC players Sebastián Driussi and Jon Gallagher as MLS All-Stars. The three representatives from Austin FC will be available for media interviews on June 26 at St. David’s Performance Center.
Tickets for both the MLS All-Star Game and Skills Challenge are available on MLSsoccer.com/AllStar, with broadcasts accessible globally on Apple TV’s MLS Season Pass.
