Austin FC is set to face Houston Dynamo FC in an in-state rivalry match at Shell Energy Stadium this Saturday. The game, scheduled for 7:30 p.m. CT, marks Austin’s fifth away match of the season.
Fans can watch the match in English or Spanish across more than 100 countries on MLS Season Pass via Apple TV. The match will also be broadcast locally on iHeart Radio’s Alt 97.5 in English and Univision’s TUDN Radio Austin (104.3-HD2, KLQB-FM) in Spanish.
Last weekend, Austin FC secured a 1-0 victory over LA Galaxy with Brandon Vazquez scoring the decisive goal in the 81st minute. Myrto Uzuni had a near-miss earlier with a bicycle kick attempt. Austin currently holds second place in the MLS Western Conference with a record of 5-1-3 and aims to maintain their strong position against Houston Dynamo FC.
Houston Dynamo FC stands at 14th place in the Western Conference with a record of 1-4-4. Their only win this season was against LAFC earlier this month. Last weekend, they drew 2-2 with Colorado Rapids, thanks to Ondřej Lingr’s equalizer during stoppage time on his debut for Houston.
Lingr, a Czech international midfielder from Slavia Prague, is expected to enhance Houston’s attacking capabilities.
