Austin-Bergstrom International Airport reported an increase in passenger traffic for November 2025, with a total of 1,825,153 passengers, representing a 3.12% rise compared to the same month in 2024. Enplanements reached 924,382 for the month, up by 3.56%.

Among individual airlines, Southwest Airlines had the highest number of passengers at 749,808, which is a 2.6% increase from the previous year. Delta Airlines saw a significant rise of 15.5%, reaching 322,579 passengers. American Airlines and United Airlines experienced declines of 7.2% and 0.7%, respectively. Notable increases were recorded by Frontier Airlines (up 84.7%) and JetBlue Airways (up 71.2%). Several carriers saw decreases, including Alaska Airlines (down 9%) and Allegiant Air (down 13.2%).

Cargo activity in November declined compared to last year. The airport handled a total of 21,206,818 pounds of air cargo during the month—an overall decrease of nearly nine percent from November 2024 figures. International air cargo dropped by almost twelve percent to just over two million pounds.

Air Transport International carried the most cargo among airlines with over nine million pounds moved in November—a modest increase from last year—while Federal Express saw an eleven percent decline to about three point four million pounds.

Aircraft operations showed mixed results: general aviation operations decreased by nearly two percent while combined operations—including commercial and military flights—increased by just over five percent.

For the period from January through November of this year, Austin-Bergstrom recorded nearly twenty million total passengers—a slight decrease compared to the same period last year—and just under ten million enplanements.

Year-to-date airline trends varied: Delta Airlines rose fifteen percent while American Airlines fell more than eighteen percent; Frontier Airlines saw its passenger count more than double since last year; British Airways was up nearly twenty-five percent; JetBlue Airways dropped by more than half.

From January through November, air cargo volumes reached over two hundred fifty-four million pounds—down eight point three percent versus last year—but international air cargo rose slightly by less than one percent.

General aviation operations for this eleven-month period fell marginally below last year’s levels but combined aircraft operations increased slightly.
