Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS) will host its second annual Runway to Opportunities event, a networking and information session linked to the Journey With AUS airport expansion program. The event aims to connect prime contractors working on airport projects with businesses interested in subcontracting opportunities.

Runway to Opportunities is intended to help subcontractors understand how to engage with large-scale construction efforts at the airport and build relationships with major contractors. Attendees will hear presentations from prime firms currently involved in significant airport projects, receive updates on ongoing and upcoming construction activities, and gain insights into the overall direction of the Journey With AUS expansion. The event also includes practical guidance on conducting business with both the City of Austin and Austin-Bergstrom International Airport.

The session will take place on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, from 8:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Texas Computer Education Association (TCEA), located at 3100 Alvin Devane Blvd, Building B, Austin, TX 78741.

Prime contractors participating include Austin Commercial, Hensel Phelps, JE Dunn, and Sundt / Archer Western. In addition to informational sessions, there will be structured and informal networking opportunities for subcontractors to ask questions and explore potential collaborations for future airport projects.

Businesses interested in attending can register online for more information about participation.
