Ash and the Endings is a five-piece alternative rock band from Austin, Texas. The group explores stylings of indie, classic, and psychedelic rock with dynamic twists and turns and originality. Ashton Chase, or “Ash,” fronts the band with belting contralto vocals that remind listeners of Stevie Nicks, Karen Carpenter, and Dusty Springfield. “The Endings,” comprised of WK Wahlert (lead guitar), Conor Kelch (piano, rhythm guitar, vocals), Josean Rodriguez (bass, vocals), and Jamie Foster (drums), play with originality and fervor.

Chase, Kelch, and Rodriguez met at Austin’s St. Edward’s University while studying theatre and have used their background in performance to deliver an expressive, high-energy, harmony-heavy experience. The group is known for its three-part harmonies, tight performance and timing, creating a sound akin to groups like Shannon & The Clams, Paramore & Fleetwood Mac.
