Travelers passing through Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS) during the holiday season can find a variety of festive drinks tailored to different preferences. The airport is offering several seasonal beverages at various venues, providing options for those seeking cocktails, beer, wine, or non-alcoholic treats.

One featured cocktail is the Pumpkin Spice Carajillo, which adapts the classic Spanish coffee drink by using LALO Tequila and pumpkin purée. This drink is available at Departure Lounge, Second Bar & Kitchen, and Hut’s Hamburgers. Another seasonal option is the Cinnamon Apple Margarita, made with apple cider, lime juice, agave, cinnamon, and LALO Tequila.

For those who prefer beer over cocktails, SPUTNIK—a Russian imperial coffee oatmeal stout from local brewery Austin Beerworks—is available at The Beerdrop inside Austin City Market, 24 Diner, and Parkside. Samuel Adams Winter White Ale is also offered at these locations for guests interested in spiced flavors.

Parkside provides additional choices such as the Blackberry Bramble cocktail and Tito’s Lavender Lemonade. The White Clouds cocktail features white cranberry juice and several spirits for a more complex option.

Wine enthusiasts can visit Vino Volo near Gates 8 and 22 to sample holiday-themed wine flights like “Holidays and Cabernets” or “Holiday Hits.” Bottles are also available for purchase.

Non-alcoholic selections include hot chocolate paired with a cheese Danish from Medici. Many cocktails can be prepared as mocktails upon request.

The City of Austin manages operations at AUS as part of its municipal responsibilities. The city oversees legislative and administrative functions across Central Texas along the Colorado River and employs more than 16,000 staff members to manage its services according to its official website. Austin has a budget of $5.9 billion and focuses on fostering community pride while supporting diversity and inclusion as core values (source).

Passengers are reminded that FAA regulations prohibit drinking alcohol on board unless served by airline staff.

“However you celebrate this season, we’re happy to be part of your journey. Travel safe, sip responsibly and be sure to gift yourself a little holiday treat. Happy Holidays!”
