The Lamar Senior Activity Center, an Austin Parks and Recreation managed facility, serves adults aged 50 and older with a wide variety of recreational, educational, and cultural programs. Through events like Art On and Off the Wall, the Center highlights the skills and creative expression of its participants while fostering community engagement.
The event is co-sponsored by the Lamar Senior Activity Center Advisory Board, a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization comprised of senior volunteers. The Advisory Board plays a vital role in supporting the Center’s programs and fundraising efforts.
