APD Highway Enforcement Unit Detectives are seeking public assistance in identifying a suspect involved in a collision that resulted in injury. The incident occurred on Saturday, June 14, 2025, at approximately 12:05 a.m. on the 8100 block of Research Boulevard.
The crash involved a truck and a pedestrian. The truck was traveling southbound on the service road when it struck a 68-year-old White male who was crossing the roadway. The victim sustained life-threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital. The driver fled the scene without calling emergency services or providing aid.
The suspect is described as a Hispanic male with a medium build, approximately 5’7” tall, and having a tattoo on his left hand or arm. The vehicle involved is described as an unknown make or model truck, silver or gray in color, from model years between 2010 and 2020.
Authorities urge anyone with information about this case to contact the Highway Investigation Tip Line at 512-974-8111. A reward of up to $1,000 may be available for information leading to an arrest.
