On October 14, A+ Federal Credit Union will host its third annual employee day of giving: A+ Gives Day. Over 500 local and non-local A+FCU employees will volunteer at organizations throughout Central Texas and across the nation to support the credit union’s mission of building stronger communities through charitable activities.

To broaden the impact of this effort, A+FCU is inviting the community and organization supporters to vote daily to determine which five deserving local organizations will each receive a $2,000 donation on A+ Gives Day. Voting is open for two weeks starting in mid-September.

“You can vote as well! Click the following link each day to cast your votes and help A+FCU choose which partner organizations will each receive an A+ Gives Day donation with a total of $10,000 to be given: aplusfcu.org/gives.”

In 2023, the A+ Give Day online voting process generated over 4,750 votes from the community, and a total of $10,000 in donations was awarded to the top-voted organizations through check presentations by A+FCU team members volunteering at each site.

A+ Gives Day is hosted annually as a tangible way to connect A+FCU team members with each other and the local community. The credit union partners with organizations that help strengthen the community through park beautification, community outreach, supporting animal needs, and fighting food insecurity.

This year marks A+FCU’s celebration of 75 years of making a difference in the communities where its members and employees work and live.
